Meghan Phillips has been in the social work profession for over fifteen years. She currently works on eastern Long Island as a school social worker, providing clinical, educational, and supportive services to children, adolescents, and their families. In addition, Ms. Phillips offers consultation and psychoeducational training to staff. Previously she worked as a substance abuse provider in the substance abuse field with adolescents and adults struggling with addiction. In addition to her mental health and substance abuse treatment experience, every summer Ms. Phillips works with East End Hospice in their Camp Good Grief Bereavement Camp for children ages four through seventeen and their families. She is a member in good standing of the National Association of Social Workers. Ms. Phillips earned her Master of Social Work at Stony Brook University and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania. In her spare time. Ms. Phillips enjoys reading, walking and going to the beach.
