Alison Lamonica is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-R with over twenty-four years of experience working with Substance Use Disorders (SUD) and mental health issues.
She is a graduate of Adelphi University with both a Bachelors of Arts and a Master of Social Work. Miss Lamonica has had the privilege to work and provide direct services to adolescents, families, individuals, and groups in various settings, such as public schools, community outpatient clinics, rehabilitation facilities, and correctional facilities. These vast experiences have enabled Ms. Lamonica to have a unique perspective and evidenced-based success in the recognition and treatment of co-occurring disorders. Ms. Lamonica currently serves as the Director and Clinical Supervisor in a well-regarded treatment facility, located on Eastern Long Island, for those experiencing the challenge of addiction. She will soon be dually certified as a Certified Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (NYS-CASAC). Lastly, Miss Lamonica has been an invited speaker at community events and an educator at continuing education trainings.
